Love is in the Air!

Funny Story. I was sitting on the couch yesterday (my usual Sunday morning activity). It was about 10:30 am and a bit on the warm side. All of a sudden I heard a strange noise coming from outside. What type of strange noise? Well, moaning and groaning! That's right dude someone in a nearby apartment was having some sex for brunch. Of course, I had to investigate this "moaning and groaning" myself, just to make sure no one is being hurt. So I moseyed over to the window to take a look. I discovered that it was the apartment across the way ( I think the apartment complex is called Maison on Main St). No dude, sorry I couldn't see anything just heard them, so I went back to the couch.

Well, that is not the end of my story! At about 2:30pm, I once again heard this strange moaning! They were at it again! Heck I guess there really is not much to do on a Sunday afternoon in downtown Bellevue! I wonder if anyone else may have heard! If so, drop a comment.

Back at it dude!

Hey Dude,

Its been like 3 months since I have posted anything here. Mostly because I have been a busy dude. Busy with work and with Dude Help, my fantastic website.

I was reminded that I have this blog, so I decided to post some stuff again. About what, I am not sure...but I will think of something soon.

btw...the good news is that crazy music dude is gone forever! It has been so quiet here I do not know what do do with myself.

Dude It's still cold!

Well, I found out why it is so cold in the hallways here at Belle Arts! The damn air conditioning has been on for a week. I stopped by the office and asked them why it is so cold, she said to me that for some reason the AC for the building turned on and that someone will be out in the morning to fix it. Yeah right! That was Thursday and now it is Sunday and the AC is still on. The only good part is that it is sunny outside and keeps my unit warm!

BTW incase you do not already know. Belle Arts is located in Downtown Bellevue, WA.

Not a bad location!

Dude it's Cold!

I just got home to Belle Arts and dude it feels like a freezer in the hallways. I am serious something is not right! Well, it is cold outside, but shouldn't the hallway be warmer than outside? It is enclosed and on the fourth floor.

So, I had another funny interaction in the elevator with a lady and her dog Sparkles! That's right dude, the dog's name is Sparkles, how funny is that. Anyways, the damn dog is tiny and he barks like a bastard.

The Dudes Layout at Belle Arts

When I first moved here I felt like I was living in a hotel room! Now that I have lived here for a while, I still feel like I live in a hotel room! I mean there is about 3 feet between my couch and my bed. Not complaining, just describing.

The unit I am in is pretty cool. Its new and has a nice kitchen. Even though I hardly ever cook. If you read my Dude Health page, you would see what my typical diet includes. Anyway, here is the layout of my unit at Belle Arts. Not bad but could be better dude. Just enough room for me to park myself and chill.

The crazy music dude is at it again. Playing some damn instrument up there. If you do not know who the crazy music dude is, read my March 6 post. Basically he is a crazy disrespectful pain in the ass.

Crazy Music Dude

Crazy Music Dude ImageAs I have mentioned before I live on the 4th floor at BelleArts. Now the building has 5 floors so unfortunately I am not on the top floor.
Where am I going with this, well the damn dude above me actually play live music everyday! That is right we plays some type of bass instrument. This has been going on since the day I moved in. One day back in January, the noise was so annoying I marched up to the dudes door and started knocking, but he was playing his damn instrument so loud he didn't hear me knocking. I don't know how the other people on the crazy music dudes floor did not say something. It was so loud! Anyways, I started to bang on his door hard, but the dude didn't hear me. Finally I waited for a pause in the music and I gave the door a pound, then the excitement began.

So the dude comes to the door and the following conversation occurred (without opening the door):

Crazy Music dude says: "don't you ever bang on my door like that again"

I say: "the just turn down the music dude, you are giving me a headache!"

Crazy Music dude says: "what is it too loud?"

I say: "very much dude"

Crazy Music dude says: "Sorry"

And that was it, the only interaction I have had with him. And even know he never opened the door, I know who he is.

Anyways, since that interaction, he is still a crazy music dude but a bit softer, although sometimes the thumbing gets loud.

PS- if you are reading this and you are the crazy music dude, just chill on the music dude, respect thy neighbor!

Lazy Elevator Dude

This is a re-post from my website!

I was in the elevator this morning on my way to get coffee and some dude that lives in my building got in the elevator on the third floor. He had the full workout gear on, a headband, jogging suit and even an iPod.
I said, “what’s up dude?” and he said “nothing man, just going to workout”. I said, “cool” and I thought to myself, what a punk! I mean why is this dude even getting in the elevator to basically go down 2 sets of steps? Especially, since he is on his way to jog or workout. Come on dude, just go down the stairs!

It doesn't really bug me that much but he delayed my trip to Starbuck's by at least 1 minute! Because of him, the elevator made 2 extra stops, because I was not going to either the 3rd or the 1st floor. Who know maybe he would have exhausted all of his energy going down the stairs and would not be able to run.

Sometimes I wonder about people. Now of course it was ok for me to be lazy and take the elevator (at least in my mind), I was just getting some coffee. You better believe if I am going to go work out, I will take the damn stairs.

That's all dude
